# Cadenspot

> Cadenspot is a booking app for salons, studios and independent service pros. Clients book open times from one link; appointments land on the owner's Google or Microsoft calendar; AI agents can book through an MCP server and a REST API, within the owner's hours, prices and rules.

- Each API key belongs to one business and carries scopes: availability:read, bookings:read, bookings:write, bookings:cancel, bookings:approve.
- Every booking, hold and reschedule is checked by the server against the owner's hours, buffers, notice and daily limits; the same stylist can never be booked twice for the same time.
- Send an idempotency key so a retry returns the first booking instead of creating a second one.
- No tool accepts a price: prices only come from the owner's settings. Refunds, complaints and emergencies go to the owner (escalate_to_owner).
